Back in January,
I wrote a piece on "up and coming" fashion designer,
Dora Abodi.
Recently, I have had the pleasure of corresponding
with Ms. Abodi and her design team.
Her new look book for Fall 2010,
is brimming with creativity and fresh ideas.

The best part, is that it is all inspired by
the Glam Rock genius that is mid-eighties David Bowie.
In fact, Dora Abodi even named the collection
"Bowie Utopia".
It's amazing how music can inspire a
designer to create pieces like this.

and Let's Dance, playing in my head.
{I saw Bowie perform live during the Ziggy Stardust Spider tour!}
As much as I love the clothes here,
I think Dora Abodi really "shines" as an
accessories designer!

Growing up I liked to hear Bowie too. Her designs are fun!
This is such a nice surprise! I love to discover new designers. Oh, that purse is quite stunning too. But the trousers are my favourite. Music is and will always be an inspiration. The same goes for nature, sweetie;-)

See how forward thinking you are?? I'm so impressed! And oh, Bowie, I just die! LOVE the glamorous 80s, I want it all to come back! I saw him at Roseland in the VIP section (I have to brag, only having been VIP once or twice in my life, and this was one of those times!) about 7 or 8 years ago, and while his show was great, Iman was there and she was so, so lovely in person, I was actually more impressed by her, lol! But I do love Bowie, one of my all-time favorites!

RADICAL!!! any tribute that is based on bowie is ok in my book! i saw him about five years ago. it was such a weird show. and it was FAB!
