These remind me of the old Highlights magazine, and finding the "hidden" pictures! There's a visual balance to the X, making it very appealing.

WOW! I know I could have looked at every one of these photo's and NOT noticed the X. That is so cool how you did!!!Thank you so much for your comment on my blog! That post was one of those .... oh??! should I post this??? It's one thing to whisper it to myself but to put that out there made me nervous. Like I said ... the who do you think you are?? is staring back at you on the screen.
i never realized how many x patterns were used in interior until now. cute post!
Where's Waldo?! What fun!!! I love your blog, it's so cool! I found you over at Joanne's blog and I'm glad I did because this was such a cool post!

My design hero Suzanne Kasler loves and always uses the "X" motif. Check her out if you haven't seen her work - I know you will love her as I do! Try her on the web at www.suzannekasler.com Great post!
love it! it turns out that i like the "x" factor! for some reason ever since i was a kid i loved seeing grids, especially when i could see structures being built. it is nice to know what the support system is, how it works....kind of like seeing the skeleton of a building and furniture.yes, i am a weirdo. but you knew that by my new header. sorry it scared you! it is pretty much ridiculous, just like me! :)
This is a fun post! Nice picture selection to prove your point! Well done! xoxo
what a creative post! I did a photo shoot recently at a kitchen with x's on the side of the island similar to the one you showed here. so striking! good eye, good eye!
I want that black barn, what is wrong with me? Summer JUST arrived and I am already craving the fall. LIVE IN THE NOW, Bailey!
Super cute post! It felt like a game of "find the x".
Love the X element! And finding the Xs in these photos is like playing "Where's Waldo?"
I'm gonna play find the X with my daughter later! What a fun post and I never realized how many X's are out there! I even have some in my front yard and never realized it!
Sue, what a fun and creative post! I found myself going on a X hunt in each and every pic.Happy new week to you, dear. Mon.

Now I'm going to be seeing "X's" everywhere!
Fun post & I'm crazy about that last barn picture!
Funny how that little X in school caused great disappointment, but in design...the X equals total jubilation!

What fun post, the tree, love love the tree!Have a happy happy week. xxx
I am drawn to pieces with an X on them also, Not sure why but I am drawn to them. You gave us some great examples here. I am on the hunt for an X bench with chrome legs and white top. Something less than William Sonomas. I want two for the end of the bed on a bedroom I have helped create. Let me know if you find one in your looking!! Glad to see you on my post today. I know don't you love Bobbie Brown!! Glad to hear you are lip product junky too! Do you buy almost the same colors like me? Happy Monday,Kathysue
Love all the X- es.XV
Love all of these! What an awesome post idea. The little dark orange stools are my favorite, I'm already mentally placing them in my bedroom!
I typically think this element is a bit too rustic- but there are some nice cleaned up versions here. Pretty!PS. I am doing a giveaway on my website. You have to enter- its a gorgeous piece! www.aspiringkennedy.com
This can remind me of barns but these spaces are gorgeous! I especially like it on the red stools -- so cute!xo Josiehttp://winksmilestyle.blogspot.com
Love the island in #3 and the door in #4. I think x's are so classic and so current all rolled into one! Great images!!
Great images....For some reason I really love the table with the two stools underneath. Not my usual decorating style but I like!
very x-y - I like! and I noticed that you are on your inspiration blog list. I like that a lot!
and by x-y, I meant ex-ee. the fact that I'm having to retype the comment to clarify my bad pun, not a good sign.
I absolutely love x-based stools!
How FUN is this?! You are so clever! I've always wanted a pair of X stools and loved seeing all of the other "X's" you came up with : ) !xx Suzanne
Xactly what I needed today. Design fun!!! You are a clever clever lady!!!xoxo, E
The first thing I notice in an image is the "x". Not sure why but my eye is just drawn to them. This post was fantastic. I did a similar post early in my blog and some of the "x's were so obscure it was like a game of Where's Wally, lol.Thankfully yours were a little more overt:o)Angex
I love the x element. We did custom shelves in our library and did the iron X's on the ends with thick rustic wood shelves. they turned out great. As usual you are right on. Mona
what a fun post! I love the x! : )
now that is what I would call an x rated post :)) have a lovely day xox
I love that island in the third photo. It's gorgeous!! I think X elements in design are classy looking.
I loved this post! It was really fun to find the x in all of the pictures! Great eye candy as well. :)-Amy Bird Tweetsxoxo
