Oh Zhush...if I let myself, I could seriously want that house!
Is that Phillip Jeffries grasscloth in the first picture? I love it all! Perfect palette for a home by the sea.
The colours are soooo soothing to the eyes.. so summery.. I love the cottage style..
Beautiful. Love the bedroom! xo
This is refreshing. NY has been just awful. Thanks.
I love the lightness that exudes coolness from every room in the home.cheersSusan
Those colors are very cool and calming...we need them right now in Nashville too!
Ice ice baby...I had to but I sort of hate myself for it. Summer just makes me crave ice blue rooms with big windows and crisp sheets. Also, thank you so much for your snaps on my latest project, you're the best!
Wow! Seriously... you would NEVER hear me complain if that was my beach house. Or if I could at least rent it for a couple months... hey, there's a thought!Your posts always inspire me to make fun little changes to my house decor :)
I love the blue. Very refeshing
These are gorgeous - I think this insane temp dropped 5 degrees just looking at them. Lovely.
thanks, babe. that one is so ME! could just move right in...that color is divine...
You have my sympathies on the heatwave. We're always hot here, but there's no lack of air conditioning. I feel for you guys! If only looking a "cool" pics could lower the temps! These are beautiful and restful pictures, for sure. Hope you get some relief soon.
It's beautiful! Hope you are having a great summer and staying cool.
OMG! I want everything-especially that chaise lounge chair!
Oh wow, beautiful!
So refreshing! I love the colors and lightness of everything.
There's a heat wave here too! But, you're right, those images are so refreshing! I love the chaise in the first pic and those white leather ottomans in the fourth.
I love those photos -- perfect relief on a hot summer day!
It's going to be 71 here in Denver today. Is there any way I can tempt you out for a visit?
So refreshing! Love that focal wall in the living room, now that is wood done right!!
So gorgeous, I want to live there!xxNikki

Like jumping into a pool! :) xoxo

I am pouring over old mags for cooler images and this was just so fantastic...and cool!
What beautiful settings. I love that chaise lounge in the first picture. I could just imagine myself sitting there, reading a book, and being fed little bon bons by my hubbykins :)*kisses* HH
Love!!! I did my bedroom in those colors. Something about them make me feel so at ease...
I would like to be in picure #1 right now!!!I am in a phase of loving "cool tones". When we moved into our house all of the walls were taupe and warm tones of taupe.. I'm ready to paint it all white and get some cool tones in there!!
That bathtub is large enough that I could fill it with cold water and pretend that I was at the pool. Ahh, at the pool, that's where I wish I was right now- its so darn hot out!

Extremely refreshing! I am loving the cool tones here. This would make a fantastic place to go to relax in the summer...or anytime ;)
Too funny - I tore this article out of HC&G just last week and put it in my "perhaps someday when I have a house on the beach" file! So cool and fresh unlike this weather!
Love it though I would probably have to bring in a few bold accessories (hot pink? orange? turquoise?) to keep it happy. Though I absolutely adore the bathroom with the gorgeous marble surround on the bath. I wouldn't change that one bit.
I just painted my bathroom a soft, cool grey!!
Oh please pass the chaise. And room #4. All of that room will do. I kind of want to photoshop myself right into that one!!
the carpet + rug are so lovely! such great colors!xo Alison
Wow. That's almost all I can say! This aesthetic is exactly what my husband and I are shooting for ... And he would probably die just as much as I have for the color scheme. It just goes to show you that going with shades of a certain hue CAN work in a space -- Love!
Sue, this post was better than a dip in the pool! xoxo, Elizabeth
Magnificent, every thing is just perfect the colors and proportion.
Love those cool blues, so soothing - and that bathtub in the 3rd picture is absolutely amazing!
Wow....I love it all....causes me to exhale after a very long week! Wish it were mine!
love the color theme and the tub!
That marble tub is amazing! I'm so into marble right now.
Wow, this really does look refreshing and cool! We are having a heat wave up in Vancouver as well, so I can really picture myself lounging in this space :) Love that bathroom, the touch of blue on the shelves is fab!Nancy
So gorgeous! I feel 10 degrees cooler already! ; )

So beautiful and serene - just love this house! xo
Yes indeed. Perfect to beat the heat with.
Hi, thanks for another great post on our work! Yes, the mantra for this house was definitely "keep it cool." Our client didn't want any warm tones in the house! This is probably our favorite, most creative project that we have ever worked on, and that master bedroom is hands down our favorite room.Privet and Holley, Cara, Shannon, Erica, Andrea, Heavenly Housewife, Free Bird...The chaise that you all love is the Rhinebeck Chaise from Kravet, in a Nancy Corzine fabric: Boucheron, color IceAll things house and beautiful - That light fixture a custom Jaeger Chandelier in Agate Shell in Silver Leaf Finish made by Ironies, available to the trade through the Jerry Pair showroom in NYC.Style Chronicle - That wallpaper is a Phillip Jeffries paper, but it is not a grasscloth...It is Amalfi Silk Wallaper in Tirreno BlueShannon - Those white ottomans are a favorite of our too, and they are custom Tangier Hassocks in Mother-of-Pearl Leather with Silver Nailheads from Profiles in NYCOneCraftFox - That wood is wide-plank poplar with a V-joint, ran horizontal, with a light great paint wash applied to cool down the greenish cast of the wood, and give it a more uniform appearance. Averill - We often punch up of designs with some bold touches of color, but in this care, our client wanted everything soft, serene, cool and blue. Thanks again for the post, and for all of your kind feedback :)Best,-Austin & Jennifer
