Design Crush: Lara Spencer

Yes! That's right, Lara Spencer, from "The Insider"!

By now, you know my love for all the great shows on Bravo!
The other day, I caught an episode of the Kathy Griffin Show...
Lara Spencer was helping Kathy
redesign and redecorate her whole house!

Apparently, Lara Spencer loves decorating
and helping her friends with design projects.
After watching Lara in action making all these
great suggestions to Kathy,
I became very curious about Lara's own home.
This is what I found:

Lara and her family recently moved
from the East Coast to Los Angelos.

She renovated this mid century home
and added lots of fun
and glamorous touches throughout.

No wonder Kathy asked for her help!

And,  to see one of my
favorite vacation spots...
head over to Sogni e Sorrisi
and check out my guest post!

love it! (although, given a fat budget, couldn't we all do great decorating?!) :)

I love it,
but
@Anita doesn't matter if you have money or not if you don't have style it's not going to make a difference. Now, I'm off to read your guest post.

She does have a very hip, fun style! Love the tufted sofa! And, doesn't everyone have a fantasy about lounging in a pit, complete with a semi-circle sofa!!!

Oh, my favorites are the tufted sofa and the geometric red/white throw on the bench at the end of her bed...great touches!!

Love her and I am so mad I missed the Kathy G show. I will have to try to catch a rerun. I loved seeing her new home because I remember seeing pics of her old house and it was also fabulous but more traditional with lots of tartan plaid. What a change!

Who knew? And you are a Bravo fan too? I often wonder if I should be concerned about how many brain cells I must be loosing watching the Real Housewives...all except Orange County (cannot take THEM).
Best,
Colleen

PS Can't wait to hear about your trip to NYC

Love her home! Who knew a TV personality would also have such a knack for interior design. Bravo. I wonder which window treatments she may suggest for me? I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. Thank you for writing and as a special thanks to you and your readers, I would like to offer a 20% off coupon using this code upon checkout: BLG20.

you know when I saw her on K.Griffin's show a few weeks ago it took me by surprise. first, i will DENY DENY DENY that i watch Griffin's show. But IF i DID, i would think it was funny, if i watched it that is. and admitted it. and saw laura on there. which i did. if i watched it.
here's my take on that:
1. chick is talented. both of them. but one has more klass. but we won't get into that. okay, one is more visually talented, one if pretty darn funny.
2. girl has PATIENCE of JOB to work for Ms. G.... can you imagine?
3. i think it's funny that they're good friends now!
4. i would want to be a fly on the wall during those meetings.
