Great lamp, I have used this style of lamp for a client and we placed some coloured decorator balls inside the base. I love finding designer pieces at everyday prices, the effect will still be the same.
Oh yeah! And honestly, I prefer the C and B one, it has more character! XX!
i'm ALL about the cheaper versions! - if i were to be able to 'afford' the designer labels, maybe i'd go that route - but most likely id' still go the cheaper way!

I went to the Saladino showroom last night at the What's New, What's Next event at the New York Design Center and it was gorgeous! Were you there? I have to say this is a great comparison, and definitely living luxe for less! I would be very happy to have this CB lamp in my home. Great find!

now that's a deal! i love the look, the super thin cord running down the interior of that lamp. i actually like the shape of the glass better in the cheaper lamp design. really i do! ;)
I love the Zak lamp. It's so versatile...you can use it in any style room. Plus, the $200 price tag is pretty nice!

I actually like the CB version a lot better. The John Saladino is too bulky in my opinion. I think the CB version looks more feminine. I like that. -c

I think I actually like the crate one better! and for 1300 dollars cheaper, its one hell of a deal!
You know what I always think? WHO THE F has that kind of money?!?! I know, I know - someone does, but geezus, just give it a little bit of thought and creativity and things always pop up for less!
