Blame it on all the warm, copper, Autumn colors
and the harvest hues on display outside my window.
Whatever the reason,
it just seems so pleasing...
and it's definitely making me notice!

Brass, ooooo My current obsession at the moment too. It add a certain something to the room.
I love dark bronze accents. I custom designed the handles for my new furniture collection, just because I could not find the perfect ones.Same for bronze or weathered brass accessories and lighting. i am very drawn to them.

I've always been a lover of brushed golds...so striking. The mirror in the first image is fabulous. Also loving the zebra rug in the elegant bedroom. I have a wool zebra rug in my office and it makes me smile daily!

Agreed. In fact, I love antique brass so much I've had to put a moratorium on any more purchases lest my living room begins to resemble a brass shop. But I do love my 60s brass coffee table and 70s dining table ... and that last photo, above.

I am really coming around the whole gold thing. My husband has a phobia of anything gold(grew up too close to the jersey shore) and it rubbed off on me, but now I am definitely coming back around. Now how do I get him over his fear of anything gold? Hmmm...

LOVE gold and brass right now too. Just so much warmer than silver and I love the contrast when it's paired with grays or blues.
