Ironically we have a fire place.. as if it would EVER be used here in Australia. We do get Winter, but not nearly cold enough to justify the work involved with keeping a fire place clean and well stocked..

That fireplace in the kitchen/dining room is a dream. It just screams cozy and wonderful long lingering dinners. I'm in Phoenix and decided not to put a fireplace in our house but I'm thinkin' we sure should have.

I love the huge variety in design style in this collection of fireplaces. I love them all, but I think the first one is my favorite, even though I usually don't gravitate towards such simple lines. It is gorgeous though!

I really wish I had a fireplace...but then again there wouldnt be a place for my tv...hate tv's above fireplaces! :))))
these are awesome! wouldn't it be great to have a lovely brick one like that in a dining room? We have a gas fireplace but it just doesn't compare to the smell and sound of a real wood fire. :)
