Besides reminding me of home, the camelia always makes me think of Chanel. My husband and I were in Paris many years ago and we went into a small Chanel boutique. It was a slow weekday and the sales girls were bored, so they played dress up with me. For over an hour they let me try on things that I NEVER could have afforded.My favorite was a short, black, lacy cocktail dress that had a sweet white camellia pin at the neck. It was a $6000 dress. I will never forget that day. (My husband bought me a small black quilted signature purse there that afternoon for our anniversary.) I will always remember my dress-up fantasy day at Chanel...so I hope that you continue your random Chanel Item series into 2011 as well.....All the best in the New Year...K
