I'll take my banana w/ peanut butter, in a smoothie or in my cereal. It's a no for me. First I've heard of this trend! xo
I think those shoes are bananas but the Prada print looks like it belongs on bowling shirts!xxoo
I love those shoes!!! The rest I'm not too sure of.. :Dxxxhttp://gypsy-diaries.blogspot.com/P.S: I'm having an awesome designer dress giveaway... interested? ;)
All I can say is that I prefer to eat my fruit and I agree with the Buzz about bowling shirts!
I do not even love to eat bananas....!Not for me.
That's bananas! (Har Har) Ok, that's crazy! Honestly those shirts belong on a greasy cruise ship lounge lizard and no one else.
Hmmmmm.....not my favorite look.
Not sure about the banana prints, howevr those shoes are wonderful!
Not feeling the bananas.....:SJennifer
I think I prefer my fruit on the table or even better in a frying pan with a little butter, brown sugar and rum!!
Oh not a fan at all. This is just weird and 80s to me
Hmmm...maybe my father-in-law could pull off the shirt-he loves tropical inspired things! (The earings look like the runts candy!)
hahahnot for me, but its still fun, maybe in smaller doses
Naaah not for me.
those charlotte olympia shoes are about all i can take of this trend :)
It's all Mrs Prada's fault but unlike that other Italian resident, she's not infallible.
Bananas go brown pretty fast. I had a pair of dangly banana earrings in middle school. I wore them once and never again after getting laughed at! Maybe if I was a fashion designer I could pull it off and own the idea a little better :)
Not feeling the banana love - although I'm not a big banana fan as it is. Do like them in bread, though :-)
Nope, can't really feel the love on this one.
It's a no for me- just to brash or something. Do love bananas though;)
Those earrings are too cute!
OMG! Love it! What a fun post!
That Mrs Prada is always full of surprises.....xv
Suddenly, I am craving a safari sporting some bananas....I think I would be popular with the monkeys....pve
You are too funny!
Wait, I actually like NEED those banana earrings. Are they for real? Are they for real like a million dollars?
This is not for me. Yikes!
Dislike! Very odd trend...xo,joAnn
Are they crazy? Heck no! And now I have that song in my head.
A designer banana is still just a banana... It still looks ridiculous and makes you want to giggle. But hey, as long as they don't expect me to wear it... It's all in good fun :)International Fashion
I blame Rachel Zoe for this - lol! Bananas seem to come and go, I'm remembering some shirts from Chloe back when Stella McCartney designed the line that had bananas on them. I'm not going to join in. I have enough bananas on my clothes courtesy of my 2 year old - of course these are smooshed and yucky - lol!
Ummmm, I think I'll stick with just eating bananas from now on.xo Josiehttp://winksmilestyle.blogspot.com
NO, NO, NO...over ripe and rotten to the core. PLease tell me that designer was kidding?
Hmmm I'll eat one...not sure if I would wear one...unless it was banana flavored chapstick. xo
Would look really great on Carmen Miranda!xo Cathy
Those little banana earring are too cute, especially if paired with a plain white tee and jeans. Plus they look like banana Runts (remember those candies?).
Hahaha. I actually laughed out loud. But I'm all for people stepping out and expressing themselves and being different.
i dont know about this one...I am more of an apple girl :)
you know what I think would totally go with that top outfit ? In a clashing sort of way, of course ! I don't know whether you've seen those shoes from Russell & Bromley with the jewels on the toe that look just the same patterns/colours as you have here. bananas indeed !!!!!!
I think it's totally bananas! It's funny but I couldn't seriously be seen in any of these! :)
I'm afraid I can't think of all of this without thinking of Carolyn saying...it's BANANAS!I don't think I'll be sporting the fruit bowl look this Spring! :)xo Elizabeth
Call me conservative but I prefer my bananas in my kids' lunch boxes.. :)Hugsxx C
hmmmm...not a trend for me!!
Hilarious - love to see this. Though probab would take the first pair of red and white shoes...
Are we talking wearing yellow or bananas? Yellow I can do. Bananas would be a no!! Hope your doing well and your store too!
I don't know Carmen Miranda got away with it but I don't know if i couldwear fruit on my Feet!Maryanne;)
hmmm I think it's one of those trends that will look good on some...maybe??Melanie's Randomness
That street style photo makes those accessories look better than I ever imagined they could, but I still think it's a no for me. Although I do like Miuccia's skirt.
I have more of a pineapple crush!
Never will you find me wearing a banana!
BANANAS!!! is my favorite word. LOL
The shoes and purse... kinda cute. The dress ummm I would have to say partly rotten.
In the words of Gwen Stefani, that sh*t is bananas. b-a-n-a-n-a-shttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgjkth6BRRYSee now I say now that there's NO WAY I'd sport bananas hanging from my ears but watch, in about 6 months time when they are everywhere, I'll be all 'oh my god look at my banana earrings! aren't they excellent!?' Hmm. Fashion is so fickle.
Okay...the shoes I might be able to rock with something WAY more toned down...but the rest we will leave to the inhabitants of the zoo and the looney bin...(c:
Well, it reminds me personally a bit too much of Halloween ... when I dressed my twins and their cousin (of the same age) up as 3 monkeys, and the baby cousin as a banana! Hear no evil, see no evil, do no evil! ;-)
I love Miuccia Prada and I love the woven shoes. I would wear the fruity shoes if they were given to me, but the banana shirt and earrings gotta go!
Um, no. Not a fan of fruity clothing or accessories (though sometimes I'm ok with strawberries but that's only in the summertime).
No likey! Carmen Miranda at Halloween perhaps.....
Got something to share? Would love to hear it. I read every single comment:)
