After the great response we got from our house feature in Cottages and Gardens magazine, I wanted to share some more of Lauren Muse's work. A lot of people have asked me how I found Muse Interiors, and I'm happy to share the answer. It was this November, 2008, atHome magazine feature that first led me to Lauren. At the time, Lauren was working with her former business partner and current close personal friend, Christina Murphy. I flipped through this article and loved everything. Some of the items, like the chandelier in the dining room, I already owned. I can remember thinking to myself that was a very good sign. Lucky for me, I was right!

Love these rooms. Stylish but very livable. Lately it seems to me that a lot of rooms being published are all about the decorating and nothing about comfort.
But not muse interiors. They have it all!

How lovely of you to highlight her,I so agree with that comment about investing in well made furniture and then updating by recovering, my husband was aghast at what I would pay for chairs when I was single, on my own and we were dating but now he's still sitting happy on them.
love, love every single photo!
