Sunday Style Obsession: Color Made Easy

As much as I'm loving all the brightly colored fashion for this spring...I'm not exactly sure how to incorporate all of these strong hues into my very neutral closet.  Enter Jil Sander via Net-a-Porter.  This designer makes wearing bold pieces seem so appealing and accessible.  With these looks as inspiration, my outlook for Spring 2011 just got a lot more colorful!

I love both Jil Sander and of course net-a-porter!! She did indeed have some great colorful pieces this season. A bright cardigan over the black is such an easy way to incorporate color - since we probably all have the underpieces!

I have always added bright pops of color with my neutrals, it is the only comfortable way for me to not feel to matchy and like a trendzilla!!! Love all of Jill Sanders examples. It is always fun to see what some of the best designers are doing with the trends. These are timeless. Happy First Day of SPRING!!! I am feeling like wearing bright citron today!!! How about You?? I tend to pull of my pop of color with either a cardigan or shoes and it never fails to amaze me how many compliments I receive (although admittedly I have v. sweet co-workers who always find something nice to say about each other)! Such a simple thing, really.

This is so my style! I love to wear all black and then a colored cardigan over it. Or wear a bright colored shoe. Love!

I am very particular about which 'brights' I allow into my typically Scandinavian wardrobe. Once addicted to black, I must say that I have loosened up considerably since I moved to sunny Australia. A nice tan surely helps.. :)

You know, I am actually trying to make a very conscious effort to add color to my wardrobe and not keep buying black and grey! This post is just for me I think :)
