Designs On My Mind

As many of you have noticed, I've "zhushed" things up a bit over here.  For one, I added the greek key design from the zhush store to the header, thanks to Hanna of Gadabout and Shari of Little Blue Deer Design!  In addition, I've been tweaking the look of the store quatrefoil logo and actual layout itself, (full reveal to follow next month).   So, it's no surprise that I've had greek keys and quatrefoil shapes on the brain lately.  It seems that now more than ever, anything and everything that embodies these design elements really catches my eye.  Including this cheerful room, designed by Jennifer McGee!

How absolutely perfect! It's the embodiment of the Zhush design elements together in one interior!! How very graphic and bold! And as I said the other day, I think things are looking very spiffy around here!!

I love the Greek key design and love how it has been used as a vertical border here. All too often we only see it in a horizontal format.

Give me anything with a greek key and I'm all over it! I've been wanting a greek key trim on my duvet for the winter but haven't found the right size yet! (thought I'd find the trim and add it myself to the white duvet!)
btw, your header looks fabulous!!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Your comment was just the little pick-me-up that I needed :) Coincidentally, I didn't do a post today because I'm redesigning my business card -trying to incorporate a Greek key pattern. Isn't it funny how certain patterns affect people? Obviously, I love this post(and blog!) Michelle
