Obsession Du Jour: The Artwork Of Laura Segal

Harvard trained architect, mother of twins and artist, Laura Segal is undoubtedly a busy lady. Viewing this talented artist's work, it's easy to see the influence of her architectural background.  And, viewing Laura Segal's blog, it's easy to see how beautiful her paintings look installed in their new surroundings.  For more of Ms. Segal's work, you can check out her site, her blog and her etsy shop, all here.  Enjoy!

Beautiful. Love how the architectural quality gives them restraint, but the texture of the drippy paint looks like its trying to escape. Quite and lively at the same time. I can see why you're obsessed!

I wasn't sure how I felt about the pieces until the last shot. In a room it's really a showstopper.
