Today I'm excited to introduce you to the work of British interior designer Sophie Paterson. Sophie and I first connected several months ago through twitter, and I've been admiring her work ever since. Since I'm a true Anglophile at heart (studying and living in London for a semester in law school had a big effect on me), I like to think that Sophie and I are kindred spirits. We're both drawn to so many of the same things, that when I recently ran across a feature on Sophie's work in online British magazine Heart Home, it was like seeing an old friend! Enjoy this small sample of Sophie Paterson Interiors, and be sure to check out her whole portfolio as well. (p.s. Heart Home Magazine is a great read!)

I love how she uses florals in every room.
ReplyDeleteSuch a huge fan of mirrored bedside tables. I have them in my master bedroom and they equate to happiness every time I walk into that space. Love how she makes books visible in her spaces. I call it "suggestive decorating"...suggesting I should sit down and take a look/read one of them, open a magazine and relax a moment..
ReplyDeleteThanks for the introduction! I love her elegant and sophisticated style. The wall covering in the first photos is amazing!

ReplyDeleteLove! I'm also a big fan of the mirrored nightstand, but sadly Mr. H is not. This style impasse has left us nightstand-less. Maybe if I showed him this lovely Sophie Paterson room, I could win him over? Thanks for introducing us to her work!
