Like many, each new year finds me trying to get perfectly organized. Which is why I love to see a beautiful closet "before and after". Truth be told, when a closet looks this great, it fills me with both envy and... what is the opposite of envy? admiration? goodwill? I'm not sure. I just know that one part of me hates the fact that my own closet will probably never look
this good...but another part of me just loves to see a fab closet like this one (spotted over at the
L.A. Times blog). I obsess over each image in an effort to see what organizational tips I can apply to my own life and wardrobe. It's the latter that keeps me coming back for more. That, and the fact that I'm a hopeless fashion voyeur!

Gah. Those shoes are amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis type of organization makes me really happy. A little nook for everything must feel amazing!
ReplyDeleteYep, I would give anything for this closet. How dreamy... :)

Those gorgeous ORGANIZED closets are like a slap in the face... I dream of the day when I get a beauty like that!
ReplyDeleteOmg those shoes!!
ReplyDeleteI want to move in! I'll just settle in somewhere between the shoes and that rack of scarves and wraps! Sigh!!!!

Ahhh gorgeous. I asked the fiance if we could convert the guest bedroom into my closet. He seemed interested until he realized that meant we'd have to get rid of the bed.
ReplyDeleteto have a black chandie hanging in my closet..*dreaming*
ReplyDeleteCloset envy, indeed. Sue, mine is so unorganized. And I keep adding, to editing. Must deal with it one of these days!
ReplyDeleteI so dream of having a closet like this! Thanks for stopping by my blog! What a lovely blog you have, I look forward to stopping by often!:)
ReplyDeleteTotal envy. If my clothes and shoes had that much space in between them, I would have so much less anxiety and stress. I need a bigger closet, with white shelves and lots of mirrors!
ReplyDeleteSeriously amazed that some people actually have this number of shoes, and pretty ones at that!! Enjoyed seeing this! Janell
ReplyDeleteYou know I love organized closets, so this one has me doing cartwheels! I'm wondering though, this seems more like a room than a closet. If that space is the definition of closet I'm missing out! LOL. Oh, my love of shoes is fulfilled in this closet too!
ReplyDeleteOh, who is the gal that owns that closet? I think she and I could be friends. I noticed we have some of the same shoes! I like her already.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a department store, not a closet! Wouldn't that be nice... sigh.
ReplyDeleteLove all the organization...but seriously? anyone would fold and hang scarves on dowels like that? I would go nuts! And then they slip off... Scarves ARE a problem, but all my lightweight, chiffony-type, and really any that are not nice silk, I put in a huge drawer! Easy to put away, rummage through to choose one, and no, the wrinkles don't show at all on those types. For what it's worth.......
ReplyDeleteI am trying to get organized but this is so far beyond what I could ever imagine!! Pretty fabulous stuff..
ReplyDeleteYou are right Sue, that's some closet!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday
xx
Shut the closet door! Actually, please leave it open as this one is soooo much lovelier than mine...
ReplyDeletexxoo
Love all the shininess, have got to get more mirrors into mine, makes everything look much more appealing...
ReplyDeleteWow! This has to be one of my favorite closets ever. And I love the scarf storage. I can never figure out how to store mine- do I hang them, do I fold them, etc., etc. This is genius!
ReplyDeleteMy resolution for 2012 was organization and these images are amazing. Not only do I want the order of the first image, but I'll take all the shoes too!!
ReplyDeleteI envy any closet with an orchid. :)
ReplyDeleteAhhh....my idea of perfection!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration, great post.
I am drooling on my screen. To die for!! xx
ReplyDeleteStunning, the scarves!...what a wonderful idea! A very pretty closet...wish wish!
ReplyDeleteI am working on my closet....but it will never look THIS GOOD. I wonder if the scarves slip off the bars?
ReplyDeleteWOW!! you got me drooling here, can't stop staring at it!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd like to live in that closet!
ReplyDeleteGoes to show that less is more. beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow, So pretty. The shoes are so colorful. LA girl indeed.
