The
idea of pairing last year's Pantone color of the year with this year's, is compelling...however, I know I'm not this bold with my wardrobe in real life. Thankfully, everywhere I look, I'm seeing
accessories that sport this daring color combo. For the "brights-trend" timid (like me) it seems
this is the ideal way to tango with color blocking. Have you gone the bold hue route with your wardrobe choices yet?

Oh this color combo is so bright and cheery! :) Wishing it was just a little warmer now! I think those are the J.Crew pants which are the best fitting pants!
ReplyDeleteDo I see a little BlogShop work here?! Even though I don't wear pink, I think I could perhaps deal with it in accessories - orange, now that's another matter entirely!
ReplyDeletefor such a neutral gal, I flip for this combo. everytime I see something in these colors I try to figure out how I can make it work in my house...donna
ReplyDeleteNow I could definately do those acessories. They are right up my alley. So much fun!!
ReplyDeletelove that bag!
ReplyDeleteThis might be a good way for me to ease in to Tangerine Tango. You know I'm much more of a Honeysuckle girl...but I hate to be left behind on the trends!!!
ReplyDeleteWhy does that outfit look so stellar on her and I know I would look like a clown! I'm a bit punchy today -- renovation headaches! :)

Funny, when it comes to decorating my house I've never met a bold color I didn't love...I have both bright orange and pink in my LR. Like you when it comes to my wardrobe I am a bit "timid"...oh the irony.
ReplyDeleteI love using accessories for the bright pops of color, especially scarves and earrings!! That scarf and bag are wonderful!

That pink and orange scarf would be perfect with a black turtleneck since that's about as far out with color as I go too.

Yes please to that rubber bag, I posted it on my blog last week. The perfect pop of color!
ReplyDeleteI'm ready to tangle with Tangerine, and I think it looks fabulous paired with a punch on Honeysuckle. I'm afraid I've fallen into the black and gray blahs of winter and could use a little color in my life!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great way to brighten up an already cheery color. Love the way they complement each other so well.
ReplyDeleteI love the color combo! Makes me so happy! :)
ReplyDeletelove that color combo!!! I don't think I have the nerve to do a full outfit, but definitely the accessories!

Love this color combo, and I used to be a little brights timid as well... however, wearing it really does make me happy! At the same time... this red head rarely does any shade of orange...
ReplyDeletePS: kind of obsessed with your tagline. :)
Adore this combo!! M.
ReplyDeleteLove it all. I'm "known" for my super brights. That's why I love JCrew. They always get the perfect hue without going garish or cheesy. And the tangerine and hot pink! One of my favorite combos!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a fun, bright combo! Agreed, I cannot pull that off in clothing form, but as an accessory look, I love it!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I LOVE this (surprising, I know...). That J.Crew outfit is soooo me! Really loving the scarf too : ) xx
