Gearing Up Again

It's hard to believe, but my middle child/younger daughter will be turning 10 this Spring! As I start to plan her birthday party, I've been given some not-so-subtle reminders that "we need to start thinking about her bedroom re-do." If you're new here, when my oldest daughter turned eleven she was given a room make-over, turning her very young girl's room into a sophisticated pre-teen room.  Apparently, this is now a right of passage in our home, and I've been reminded that it's time to look for the inspiration for her room's decor.  After scouring Pinterest and even creating a board for this project, I eventually turned to what should've been an obvious source...Teen Vogue! Thankfully, "my client" thinks we are on the right track...

  1. I've jut been over to your older daughter's room, and it's wonderful! Looking forward to seeing this one.... it's hard to let go of their "baby" years, isn't it? I was just told by my youngest that she is too old for playgrounds...

  13. Hi Sue, check out my daughter Madison's room, we just re-did her room this summer...she wanted a "Paris Boutique"...maybe your little Lovely will enjoy the wallpaper? It's "mature" but not too fussy.
Great job checking Teen Vogue! Great resource!
