Obsession Du Jour: Paul Costello

I've been a fan of Paul Costello's photography for quite some.  After ogling the beautiful images he shot for Miles Redd's latest tome, I figured it was time to devote a post to one of my favorite photographers.  These are just a few of some the interiors Paul Costello has captured through the years, but there are many more stylish people and places to be seen on his site.

*P.S. I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who expressed concern for me and my family due to Hurricane Sandy.  We are still without power, cable and internet and beyond grateful for our little generator that "could." The kids all went back to school Monday and for that I'm so grateful as well. Our experience is really just one of inconvenience, however, where I'm really feeling "powerless" is in an ability to help.  We've already donated to the Red Cross, as I've imagined so many of you have as well. And, now... in light of yet another impending storm in the forecast, I'll be looking into other, more hands on ways, to get involved and/or donate (coats, blankets, etc). This seems to make the most sense to me at the moment. If I find out any worthwhile causes, I'll be sure to report back on these tomorrow. In the mean time, if YOU have any ideas, sites or ways to help the victims of Sandy, please feel free to share them here in the comments. Thanks again, so much.

  1. Hi Sue! Im so sorry about another cold storm coming. I have donated to the local police depts. who are taking truckloads of supplies to NY and NJ. One does feel helpless compared to all the suffering that is going on. I wish some good news will follow soon! Good luck and god bless.

  3. Sue, stay safe as help comes to others; albeit slowly. I was so happy to see the spirit and the donations coming in!

Wondering if there is a manufacturer who makes blankets, throws etc to donate say 1000 gifts of warmth.

    xoxo

  4. Sue-
I can relate to feeling powerless and helpless but not to homeless or in need as so many who lost so much - Now we are full of power here and our community is having a drive at our community center to give food, clothing to Dorp High School on Staten Island. My bank is matching donations.....there are so many who have rallied to give.
Hope your power is restored soon - and that this next storm keeps calm and carries on.
On another note....please VOTE! If you have not already done so!
