The fabulous mural wallpaper finally arrived from Susan Harter and was installed in our dining room last week. I'm thrilled with the way this looks (which is a good thing, because I have no idea what I would've done if I hated it?)!
Now that the paper is up, I'm determined to find a beautiful gilt mirror to hang above the fireplace and a bold, possibly modern light fixture to replace the one we currently have. Muse Interiors is helping me source some beautiful drapes and then this room will finally be done. (Unfortunately, not in time for X-mas, but c'est la vie!)
If you followed along on this year's One Room Challenge, you might remember that I'd originally ordered this round brass mirror for our guest bathroom. It didn't fit the space exactly as I hoped, but I'm glad I kept it because it looks perfect above my vanity.
A few months ago, Framebridge frames sent me these golden bamboo frames with images from my own Instagram feed. It's hard to capture here how beautiful these are in person, I absolutely LOVE them!
It's funny - as I look at all the progress pictures I shared here today, I'm realizing that every single one is featuring wallpaper! Other than our dining room, all these spaces are small little rooms or alcoves (like the one below from our finished, third floor attic). It's clearly my favorite way to use crazy, over the top wallpaper.
