Book Review: Patina Farm

One of the best (and unexpected) perks of starting this blog are the design books that come my way. Most of the time I get to preview the books by email before agreeing to receive them (or in some cases politely declining them) but when I was offered a review copy of Patina Farm, Brooke and Steve Giannetti's latest design book, I knew before even seeing the cover that I was going to love it.

Having followed Brooke's design blog, Velvet and Linen, for years, I was already a big fan of the Giannetti's sophisticated California meets Old World aesthetic. Inspired by the European countrysides of Belgium and France, the Giannetti's have reinterpreted classic antiques into their own blend of California country. The results are fresh and inspiring - just like their latest book. Sharing some of my favorite images from Patina Farm, a great way to welcome spring style into your home.

  1. Wow, I absolutely adore this house. I've followed her for a long time as well and have the previous book, but I will have to get this one too. Not only is the house gorgeous, but the photos I've seen of the grounds are just stunning! Makes me want to move to Ojai!
