I've decided to get a head start on my spring cleaning by re-organizing our pantry. Even though we've only lived here at our new house for a little more than a year, you'd never know it by looking at the current state of my kitchen pantry.
A winter's worth of three kids (and two adults) rummaging for cereal, pasta, canned goods and snacks has taken it's toll. While the pantry was in perfect order shortly after we moved in, the truth is it wasn't really tailored to fit my family's needs correctly. Things were just put away randomly for the sake of getting them unpacked. Now that I see how we actually use the pantry, I'm hoping with the addition of a few well chosen containers and baskets (featured here in my inspiration image) I'll be able to nail down an organized situation that's also user friendly.
I'm thinking that clear containers and low placed baskets are the keys here - it's all about seeing what's available and also knowing what's running low. Do you have any kitchen organization tricks? Wish me luck!
