I'm a big fan of Jenny Prinn's work and her "pinwheels" added a nice pop of bright color to my home office. In fact, I'm excitedly waiting on a large commissioned piece by Jenny to arrive and take center stage on the empty wall in our kitchen. In the mean time I thought I'd share some of the other little updates we've made around here since February.

The biggest and most dramatic thing to take place around here (interiors wise that is, I have two teenage girls...) is the freshly completed laundry room. There's nothing like a six week decor blog challenge (ORC) to motivate design decisions!
Our dining room got some much needed attention as well. A new Carver's Guild mirror was hung over the fireplace and sparkly chandelier by Aerin for Visual Comfort was installed. The drapery we ordered with Muse Interiors is expected to arrive soon...can't wait!

Lastly, this second floor space, it's more of a roomy landing not really a room...but it's home to a lot of our old living room furniture, and now looks a lot warmer with the addition of these matchstick shades. We're still waiting on one final rug and then this room will be finally finished as well!
