Even if you only mildly follow fashion trends, you're probably aware of all the bohemian looks in magazines, street style and stores right now. Of course there's nothing new about embroidered tops for summer, as they're practically synonymous with warm weather dressing. I've been wearing them for as long as I can remember. Defining these tops as "on trend" reminds me of Meryl Streep's famous quote in The Devil Wears Prada; "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking."
That being said, there's a reason that these summery staples have been around for so long. These tops are so easy to wear and are available in every price range, color and style...short sleeve, long sleeve or sleeveless. Light and airy, some of my favorite embroidered tops have been in my closet for years. And, even though I might've picked them up at Nordstrom, they often look like I scooped them up at some far flung island beach resort. I plan on picking up a few more, especially now that so many are on sale.
