The design progress at our home continues...you might remember from my last progress post, I was unsure about the abstract art in the kitchen. This vintage Lichtenstein poster my husband and I found at a gallery in Chelsea solved our art dilemma. After we chose a high gloss simple white frame we knew we found the perfect spot for it in the kitchen. The abstract painting has been moved to a front hallway right outside the family room, and looks perfect in it's new spot.
Other little additions to the kitchen this summer- a new favorite candle sits on my center island, love everything about this, from the scent to the colors and the clever wax container. It's like a min-piece of art! We also received the chicest little blue and white stripe dog bed for Cosmo from Annie Selke.
Speaking of Cosmo, there's nothing like a new puppy to put the mud in mudroom. Knowing how great at hiding dirt Stark's Antelope carpet has been on our back stairs, I decided to use this again as a runner in the mudroom. No more wiping up wet paw prints, at least not in this room...
Our new womb chair and ottoman is the latest addition to the sitting room in our bedroom. I've had this iconic piece on my wish list for years-so great to see (and enjoy) it in our home. Just a piece or two away from finishing up this room as well.
