I totally get what you mean. I´m all confused about my varouis taste. All pics. are stunning. Love´em all. How could I possibly chose:)? Have a great day.
I say: you can rock both looks! I'm more of a maxi kinda guy, but then again I do like a crispy white shirt and a cool, calm and collected grey interior sometimes, too!
Why choose? Isn't it a woman's prerogative to change her mind as often as she wants? ;-) I like a mix (is that even possible) of mini and maxi and the above pics are all lovely anyway :-) Have a great week, Love from London x
Yes I completely agree and completely adore this post. (not to mention the shoes) I love the simplicity of minimalist spaces but these other ones are so creative, colorful and well just amazing!
How do I love thee, Girl, let me count the ways ; ) This is pretty much how my soul rolls too. Getting the biggest kick out of the last pair of faux-hawk, f-me pumps! Cheers, Alcira
Hiiiiii! just stopping by to say whats up! i feel the same way. i am glam, boho, chic, layered, all while combined with clean, minimilistic with jere sculptures and adler pillows galore! haha
Ok, now I need to go shoe shopping. And I totally change depending on my mood. Some days I want all white, and some days I want to paint everything bright colors. That's where accessories are important ;)
I am a total split personality too. I just keep my bedroom pretty calm and let it go a little more "layered" in other rooms. One day I might find the perfect balance.
Yes yes yes..!!! Love all of these, but in the 'Spring time culling' mood that I am in, the 'minimalist' parade is what I gravitate towards right now! Bellissima baby!
Most of the time, I like a {little} maxed out action. However, every year around this time (Halloween thru X-Mas) I yearn for the mini vibe. I think b/c there is SO MUCH STUFF that enters the home during the holidays...or I like to call Holly Craze :) Either way, it's good to be versatile! I love your sense of style XOXO, Kelly
I think you would look great in a maxi and a mini!
ReplyDeleteI am more of a minimalist but it changes a lot :)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a fun weekend
Kisses
Heehee...!! I just love shoes!
ReplyDeletexx
I agree, it's fun to mix it up!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Love the gray Louboutins :)
ReplyDeleteOh, right now I am so a maxi..but that could change. Love the rooms you picked!
ReplyDeleteKnow how you feel! I tend towards maxi but sometimes I just want to chuck it all and live with less. Especially love the first maxi!
ReplyDeleteI totally get what you mean. I´m all confused about my varouis taste.

ReplyDeleteIt so depends on my mood. Can I be somewhere in between???
ReplyDeleteOh, those gray pumps are awesome. I am NOT a minimalist! xo
ReplyDeleteI'm on the same page. I think I prefer the then type though.
ReplyDeleteI am so with you! I think I might have design schizophrenia (or similar affliction), I can never settle! XX!
ReplyDeleteoh wow, I love those purple louboutin!!!
ReplyDeleteThis case I am going for the maxi!
ReplyDeleteI'm so the same way! I'll take them all :) Happy Monday! xoxo

ReplyDeleteloooving this post. im esp in love with those gray heels with red soles. but yes id take all these shoes, pls. ;)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous post perfectly illustrating why we can be so conflicted at times!
Hope you had a great weekend Sue!
ha ha, Sue! I usually fall on the maximalist side. I love my "stuff"!
ReplyDeletewhat a fab. post. Those shoes are screaming my name...:I
ReplyDeleteI have two personalities too:) I like both, I want to have my cake and eat it too!
ReplyDeleteAmy R.
I am in between, but I like my personal things, and that leads me away from minimalist. Stunning images!
ReplyDeleteHave nice day.

ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you on this! I seem to veer wildly too.
ReplyDeleteHaving just been to a party that was OTT, I'm feeling a bit minimalist today! Love the leopard pumps - meow!

you are hysterical...........that last pair of shoes; what a "don't"
ReplyDeletegreat style, as always

This is such a great post!!! I love being a maxi girl but the practical side of me always goes mini. Boo! Live big, I say!
ReplyDeleteI understand the feeling.
ReplyDeleteoh la la the shoes! i love the purple patent ones :)
ReplyDeletegirl, i am so with you on this one. it's a daily struggle, really :)
ReplyDeleteI am the same way!
ReplyDeletelove the rooms paired with the shoes here- the wild ones are my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteHow do I love thee, Girl, let me count the ways ; )
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty much how my soul rolls too.
Getting the biggest kick out of the last pair of faux-hawk, f-me pumps!

I thought this was a just a designer's curse! So glad it spills onto to people who just love great decor and have great style!
ReplyDeleteLoved the images to make your point. I tend to be more maxi in the colder months and then feel the need to shed when spring rolls around!
hahah! Isn't that the truth? It's easy to change it up with clothes and shoes - but the home is something that's harder to commit to right?

Simple can sometimes be best, no? Love it.

Totally agree...I'm in need of three homes to do in different styles that I adore - hmmmm...what to do.
ReplyDeleteI love a little stuff laying around, but both are great too.
ReplyDeletebrillaint post zushie - my two vices rolled into one! jxx
ReplyDeleteLoverly!! A little of both is the best choice. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHiiiiii! just stopping by to say whats up! i feel the same way. i am glam, boho, chic, layered, all while combined with clean, minimilistic with jere sculptures and adler pillows galore! haha
ReplyDeleteI WANT to live like a minimalist in theory, but I love too much fabulous stuff!
ReplyDeletei am an absolute maximalist. through and through.
ReplyDeleteOk, now I need to go shoe shopping. And I totally change depending on my mood. Some days I want all white, and some days I want to paint everything bright colors. That's where accessories are important ;)

Me too! I can so relate to this sentiment!
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate, Sue. I know exactly what you mean! xx
ReplyDeleteMe, really I am a maximalist. Because I love so many things....and I love to see them.
ReplyDeleteBut I have my moments...
I am a total split personality too. I just keep my bedroom pretty calm and let it go a little more "layered" in other rooms. One day I might find the perfect balance.
ReplyDeletethey are all beautiful! i think both mini and maxi will look good on you hun <3 youre pretty
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree Sue!! I have my minimalist and maximalist moments all the time...wish I could have 1 house for each look, hee hee :)
ReplyDeleteNancy xo
Yes yes yes..!!! Love all of these, but in the 'Spring time culling' mood that I am in, the 'minimalist' parade is what I gravitate towards right now! Bellissima baby!
ReplyDeletexx C
can you combine the two?!
ReplyDeletelove this post! it would be great to be able to be that minimal but i love the books on the wall and making everything feel so homey!
Most of the time, I like a {little} maxed out action. However, every year around this time (Halloween thru X-Mas) I yearn for the mini vibe. ReplyDeletei have those moments too. great photos! verbena cottage
ReplyDeleteI'm a maxi girl! (but only in decor, in fashion, I'm a mini)
ReplyDeleteGreat images! And sooo true, I feel the same! Luckily romantic minimalism is where fashion is heading so we'll be able to wear a little of both ;)
ReplyDeletexo
Very fun post! There is so much beauty out there it is sometimes hard to decide!
ReplyDeleteThose pink two-tones are great. As far as mini or maxi...it depends on the day for me. Love the post!
