Because I love when fashion and decor intersect, I couldn't resist this Chanel inspired wallpaper, designed by ex Living Editor of British Vogue, Vanessa Barneby of
Barneby Gates. According to
British Vogue, it was this Chanel number (below) that served as the inspiration behind Ms. Gates creation. According to the Barneby Gates' site, they create "wallpapers with a quintessentially English feel, giving classical ideas a contemporary twist." Love that!
I think that wallpaper would be wonderful for a nursery or child's room - it's magical!

ReplyDeleteGreat little story! Not familiar with Barnaby Gates - will definitely have to be checking out them out! In my mind that shot is the corner of a glamorous dressing room that the wife does not share with her husband :-)

ReplyDeleteThe wallpaper is magical - for an entry way, a corridor or even in an unexpected place like a laundry where it is sadly often just a functional space. Also kinda love the edge of the silk-upholstered chair. Yum!
