As someone who is infinitely more comfortable in pants (rather than skirts, shorts or dresses) I'm thrilled about the influx of chic cropped trousers for Spring 2011. It seems that this gamine look, so popular in the fifties, (think vintage Hepburn movies) is back with a modern twist. I love how this look translates from casual to dressy, and always allows you to show off a fabulous pair of heels or flats as well! Will you be channeling your inner Audrey this Spring?

ReplyDeleteI am also more of a pants girl. I already own several pairs of cropped pants for spring - just love them. I highly recommend the Minnie from J. Crew - it's a great fit (with stretch of course) and is tailored enough to go from day to a casually chic evening!

ReplyDeleteYou always know what to say and how to present it with style! I also prefer pants to skirts not so much for the way they look on me but for their functionality and ease. (I look good in skirts, in fact that would be mini skirts but I am not comfortable in them). If I was chic in town, I would opt for 1st option but since I am classy in the province I go for something along the lines of the 4th style. Question is how do I lose those extra 3 kilos I am stuck with?
