Nude shoes are the great leg lengthener, for sure. I found a pair by Cole Haan last season that I fell in love with, but I just couldn't part with that much dough in one swipe. Of course, now your post is making me rethink that decision!

ReplyDeleteOh I love wearing high heels as I am only 5'2 but nude doesn't suit me, I'm too pale and I never wear nude colours. Just one of those things. With my very pale Irish skin and freckles nude just doesn't look right.

ReplyDeleteI'm with you, I absolutely adore nude shoes. I just bought a simple, but gorgeous pair before the holiday season. Not only do nude shoes make the leg appear longer, they just look chic to me. Happy New Year!
Stem stretchers, funny but more like ankle busters for me. I'm tall so don't need a lift and I'm klutzy but just once it would be nice to be able to wear something like these beautiful shoes!

ReplyDeleteSorry - my computer decided I was done with my entry - my explanation was that under pants you can wear whatever height or style shoe you want and automatically extend the visual length of your leg. But for skirts and dresses - of course nude is a great choice!!

Yes, very chic! I would look for anything that camouflages my sometimes less-than-flat tummy a little. I'm pretty tall, but I love a good wedge heel. It just can't be too tall or I tower over everyone especially my husband who is just my height (if we're barefoot)!

ReplyDeleteI am with Roses....I am 5'2 and never thought to wear nude shoes....now I'll have to try some on next time I am at the store. There is a Jimmy Choo within walking distance to my house.....maybe the baby and I need to take a stroll this afternoon so Daddy can enjoy football in peace :)

I make sure I get pants that fit super nice in the hip/rear arena, I mean area and then have them the perfect length to hide and show just enough of a "stem stretcher" like beautiful ones you've featured above! I need to upgrade :)

ReplyDeleteI'm a HUGE fan of a well cut blazer. As someone with broad shoulders and zero waist it does wonders for creating the illusion of that hourglass shape that I long for.

i have been daydreaming about those miu miu heels. they make them in a short heel too (not that i'd be interested in that). i have short, dumpy legs so i also am always buying nude shoes.
