With "boutique" style closets becoming more and more popular it seems only fitting that artfully displaying jewelry would also become a trend, one I'm quite in favor of. Rather than stashing it all away in boxes and drawers, why not accessorize with your baubles? Not only do these vignettes look so appealing, but they serve the very practical purpose of seeing what you have in front of you each day... (instead of my current situation of outta sight ~ outta mind!)

I need a legit bust for my jewelry. Legit. Dying for one!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I think I'll go look for a few pretty trays and bowls and start draping my baubles and bangles.
ReplyDeleteI love love love the look of having it all on display but is it utterly ridiculous that it gives me anxiety knowing that it will be a pain to dust? I am my mother's daughter...ugh.
ReplyDeleteI love jeweller displays, I love seeing how imaginative people can get!
ReplyDeleteHuge fan of pretty jewelry displays! Love your samples. I have two busts that I had upholstered that display my costume necklaces!
ReplyDeleteThese are all gorgeous displays. xo
ReplyDeleteI took a picture frame and covered the cardboard insert (or foamboard cut to size) with fabric. I stick my brooches and pins into it, and hang it on the wall. Practical and gorgeous (and since it's vertical on the wall, almost dust-free, christin).

Beautiful Sue. I do like to style a few pieces in pretty vignettes. Oh and I saw a full length floor mirror that opened up for jewelry storage ; now to find the image back ( I should have pinned it!!

I love the idea of draping over a bust... I love the trays of baubles but can't really use it my house since my cat will distribute it all over the floor...

I love displaying my jewelry! It's looks beautiful and pleasing to the eye and also makes it easier to pull your pieces for the day! Great photos!

I couldn't agree more and love the collection of examples here. I keep my favorite every day pieces in a Limoges dish on my dressing table and a few little trays scattered around.
ReplyDeleteThose necklaces on the busts are stunning!! Love displaying my good jewelry!

So nice to enjoy the fun jewelry we have. I have a few necklaces hanging from the on/off switch on the lamp in our guest room.
ReplyDeleteIt's just as pretty to display it as it is to wear it!
