It never fails. Every winter I have these grandiose ideas about fabulous new outdoor elements...and yet, every Memorial Day seems to come and go in a flash, needless to say, without a plan. Even though our property has come a long way from the first year we moved up from the city without a clue as to watering schedules or how much seeding cost, I still find myself looking to make a few improvements here and there. As far as getting great ideas, the next best thing to going out in the car and real estate stalking is finding a beautiful site like Miranda Brooks for amazing landscape design inspiration. You can view all her lovely projects here.

Beautiful!! Good landscape designs really make the property and house! I know what I like but am hopeless in this department - any semblance of order outside is all due to my husband!
ReplyDeleteThis post? I want this post. Oh man, I want it so bad!
ReplyDeleteThis post is timely for me since we've been hard at work outside and I can always use more ideas. It's never to late to get working outside the trick is to keep it simple and low mantinence. That second image is stunning!

that leafy gazebo is a stunner! it was so nice to see you again at blogfest Sue!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love her classic approach to gardens - boxwood hedges, garden urns. Wish she would come help us start up our stalled landscaping plans!
ReplyDeleteThis was so helpful! Most of our new house is already landscaped, but oddly the part just to the right of the front door was terribly neglected. I want a very tailored, elegant look so these were great inspirations! I'm off to see more on her site - thanks!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful! Wouldn't mind sitting out there with a glass of wine one evening!
