I love it when shelter magazines showcase a well known designer's home. Maybe I'll even make this concept a regular item here. The Architectural Digest feature on Suzanne Kasler's house, did not disappoint. This English Regency style manor located in Atlanta, Georgia was everything that you would expect from this talented lady. I especially loved her outdoor patio area, bathrooms and kitchen, but every inch of this grande abode is really spectacular!

I agree!! I love when we can actually see their homes and how they live!! I am most in love with the outdoor space...outdoor fireplace, sunburst mirror. I could spend a lot of time in that backyard!
ReplyDeleteThis was one of my favorite AD spreads of all time. I love the home Suzanne Kasler has designed for herself and hope to infuse my own with some of her chic touches.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen this yet. I'm smitten!!! Inside and out!
ReplyDeleteLoved that you found the pink quote. We seem to have a lot of coincidental moments, don't you think! ;)

This house is simply stunning! My house in England is genuine English Regency built in 1822 (although not a Manor - lol!) and is slightly more 'old English country house' than this gorgeous example - I wouldn't mind a bit of Suzanne Kasler's stunningly slick glamour injected into my humble abode! ReplyDeleteThere is something so grown up in the design, I love how elegant it feels but not to the point you wouldn't be "at home". The out door shots were amazing, and with the great weather in the south you can bet they use that so much. Its an inspiration to me as we continue to talk about having a pool house!

I love the color palette in this home! Now I just need to move out of my closed in NYC and into a bigger home...
ReplyDeleteWow...it's almost too perfect for me!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI have seen some of these shots and loved them - I didn't realize they were of her own home! I'd love it if this were a regular series on your blog...I'm always curious too what they actually choose for themselves.
ReplyDeleteHaven't bought Architectural Digest for a while now - now I see what I am missing. Do they have an ipad app yet? Will have to check that out. Great post, thank you.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne Kasler is one of my favorite designers! I loved this article.
