With our new house comes new landscaping opportunities and ideas...the fall being a great time to get started. We're currently in the process of putting up fencing ~ due to the deer population and for pool safety. As our new property starts to take shape, I love the idea of adding ivy and espaliers to soften the wood fencing.
We first put this concept to the test at our place in Florida (last image below) where the ivy grows so fast you can almost see it happening. I'm hoping we can achieve a similar look up here in the north...
