There are a few rooms in the house that are still not finished and a few that haven't even been started. Between the unpacking fatigue and the seemingly endless issues that keep popping up with the house, I was starting to lose my design mojo.
But, along with exhaustion and weird new house quirks, a move can also present new opportunities - like the need for fabulous new artwork. And, it's here that I regained a bit of my enthusiasm back. Not only do I plan on visiting the online studio of artist sisters Laura Naples and Kristin Giorgi of NG Collective, but I'm also finding endless inspiration in their stunning interiors. Now it's just a question of which beautiful piece to pick? The "minis" are pretty amazing too!

Great inspiration to keep you going! Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteThere's light at the end of the tunnel, I promise! Love your inspiration! :)
ReplyDeleteOh those are lovely! I'm a bit of an art hoarder, so any excuse is a good one.

All of these pieces are lovely, Sue! My pick is the last one, the lavender is beautiful and yet very soothing.
ReplyDeleteLove that white fireplace/mantel. I have been wanting to paint mine, but I am deathly afraid of messing it up and I know I would never hear the end of it from my hubby. This one is definitely inspiring me to give it a try :) Hang in there Sue!

So many great images and love the art. Good luck with the move Sue! I know it will all be so beautiful. xo Nancy
ReplyDeleteYour situation reminds me of a golfer with a score of 180, having twice the fun of a golfer who only gets 90 strokes. If furnishing and decorating is done quickly I think it takes some of the fun out of it. I hope you can enjoy the pursuit of interior design nirvana. And congratulations on the new digs! If you see "the other Richard Blumenthal" tell him I say hi.
