Today I'm taking part in a "celebrate summer home tour" - created by Julie Blanner. I'm featuring some rooms of my home that I've filled up with flowers...my favorite way to add a little color all year long, but especially in the summer.
Lately it's been unseasonably cold here in Connecticut, so most of these photos are from last spring and summer. The temps are supposed to heat up and stay up this week, so I'm hoping to finally fill up our front stoop pots with some fresh ferns and some boxwood topiaries this year.
I'm also planning to visit the Farmer's Market and pick up some more fresh flowers there. Of course, once it really warms up, I'll have my hydrangeas to pick and snip all summer long. Right now we're on the tail end of the lilacs, (I've placed them in little vases all over) but hopefully the rest our landscaping flowers won't be too far behind.

So beautiful! Your JA vase always looks groomed so well. How many large flowers (like the hydrangeas) do you add? Hard to tell if it's two or three.
ReplyDeleteThanks Emily, I usually play around with the flowers in the vase, this time it was three.
