I'm a big fan of Jenny Prinn's work and her "pinwheels" added a nice pop of bright color to my home office. In fact, I'm excitedly waiting on a large commissioned piece by Jenny
to arrive and take center stage on the empty wall in our kitchen. In
the mean time I thought I'd share some of the other little updates we've
made around here since February.

The biggest and most dramatic thing to take place around here (interiors wise that is, I have two teenage girls...) is the freshly completed laundry room. There's nothing like a six week decor blog challenge (ORC) to motivate design decisions!
Our dining room got some much needed attention as well. A new Carver's Guild mirror was hung over the fireplace and a sparkly chandelier by Aerin for Visual Comfort was installed. The drapery we ordered with Muse Interiors is expected to arrive soon...can't wait!
Lastly, this second floor space, it's more of a roomy landing not really a room...but it's home to a lot of our old living room furniture, and now looks a lot warmer with the addition of these matchstick shades. We're still waiting on one final rug and then this room will be finally finished as well!

ReplyDeleteIs there a link to the prints ? It brings me to google. Love the landing space
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I've fixed the link, it was for Horchow, turns out they are having a big sale too:)
DeleteWow! Your home looks amazing. I am totally swooning over the dining room.
ReplyDeleteI love your home. Do you have wallpaper in almost every room? I've recently been choosing wallpaper for various rooms in my home and I'm starting to wonder if there is such a thing as too much? I'd love to hear your thoughts on using wallpaper, particularly because you have so many beautiful ones.
ReplyDeleteHi Thanks! We have a lot of wallpaper, but not in every room. It's in every bathroom, the laundry room, the dining room the foyer and a subtle grass cloth in our bedroom. I even have a closet with wallpaper...can you tell I love it?:)
DeleteJust wowza.
ReplyDeleteShow us your flops or out takes.....or bloopers. I just see perfection. How is that done?
