I've always had a slight obsession with serpent jewelry. Maybe it's because Elizabeth Taylor wore a great one on her arm when she was cleopatra....that image has always stuck in my head :)
Those snakes are something else- I had some sort of silver snake ring back in undergrad but it's been years since I thought I could pull that look off- (years-wifehood, mommyhood Etc.) However, I think I could pull off anything with turquoise and diamonds. That snake broach is my favorite.
ooh ... somewhere I have a very cool snake bracelet that I put away and forgot about when I became a mom ... the kids are old enough to deal with it, I think I'm getting it out of hiding!
I'm a little freaked out when it comes to real snakes - like the one around the neck of my 5 year old at a recent bday party. However, these I find quite pleasing!! :)
ummm. i had the most fabulous snake bracelet that i loved and had so many friends that wanted it and guess what? i came home from work one day and it was broken after a day of dress up! i had to control myself & not blow but i was sad. still no one is fessing up and it has been months! i don't think michael was playing dress up, so that leaves one person and one person only who is the culprit. may try one of these as a replacement. thanks for sharing. have a great week.
the statement ring is so pretty! looks expensive. Where is it from?
ReplyDeleteNice way to add a little edge to an outfit.
ReplyDeleteThe jeweled snakes are quite fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the leather and gold bracelet. I would wear it with a very delicate silk flowery dress to make an outfit like that look tough. xx
