I agree with Debby about the big hair, mine was big and curly :) I am so into the aviators again, looking for a pair of Gold, Carrie style one's inspiration SATC 2. Happy Sunday to you! xx Gina
I am so glad I enjoyed the 80's to the max...Saint Tropez, Ibiza (the dress code in the clubs were glitter and bikinis..) Studio 54... Never went out without my Raybans...
Still got my black and aviator Ray Bans from back then. And iloved my army green jump suit and white cow-boy boots with fringes. Thanks for bringing me back to that great period in my life.Have a happy Sunday. xx
Love the 80's! It's actually my youngest son's favorite station on satellite radio. I also got him loving Michael Jackson - every Halloween now after trick or treating we watch MJ videos - beginning with Thriller of course! That's how it all started - after the first video my boys were glued to the screen. I loved going over to my friends house after school to watch music video's. Those were the days!
Ah yes the glorious mid 80s! :) Loved that time in my life and lived it to the full. One of these days I shall post a photo of myself from that time.. You'll fall over! :) ha ha!
The 80s were definitely not the peak of my fashionable years. However, I have an 80s party to attend in a couple of weeks --- so this comes in super handy!!! xoxo
Love the 80s so much! The fashion, the music, the general relaxed atmosphere of it all (before everyone got all uptight!). Party time! I am all for 80s stuff coming back, bring it on, Sue!
1980s OMG! I wasn't really into the music as I spent most of my time singing Itsy Witsy Spider to my girls...but I do have a picture wearing one patent red shoe and one patent green one. My sister had to wrestle me to the ground to take away my should pads. I even had them in my bathrobe!
how odd is it that mtv dropped the music part? my current obsession, tonight at least is overeating via mass quantities of good cereal. and it is almost as good as blondie back in the day. almost.
How funny, I get back from my break and end up in 1985 - and there was life before dvd, mp3 and facebook, hooray ;-) Thanks for the trip down memory lane, though I don't think I should repeat some of my fashion disasters... Love from London x
1985 brings back great memories. got my braces off that year and although I retired my parachute pants the year before, I switched to lace fingerless gloves and burlap skirts with my duran duran buttons on my shirt.... oy vey.
And big hair! lol (Mine was the biggest ever) ~love those bangles. The 80's were just FUN. xo
