Oh Susan, it is all SO FAB! I am in love with the desk in #1, I think I could get so much accomplished in that little space! :) The entire vanity in #7 is just to die for, that mirror, the little bench, oh, just LOVE it all...oh! and the bedroom in #12! It's move-in ready, and my bags are packed!
Thanks for the inspiration as always...hope you're enjoying the last warm days of summer to the max! xoxo
perfect timing of this post....I am in the market to buy a white lacquer desk. Do you know who makes the desk in picture # 5? Jon Adler? It kind of looks like and Adler desk I saw. Love all these! naina
I have those Kartell Chairs on my wish list....and I think it was Averill over at Odi et Amo who posted a lucite chest recently and I am dying to incorporate that into a space as well. Great inspiration as usual!
I totally agree, every image is so obsession-worthy its insane. I love the flowered chairs. I have seen those before but have no idea who designed them.
You clearly have a great eye! Just love the the upholstered lucite benches in the bedroom. I've been wishing one would show up at my door for a while now. Great post!
The kitchen with the castered barstools and the 2 giant drum shades is my Monday pop of "circle"! I'm thinking that's what it would be like to love and live in that part of the home. Are those metallic bronze cushions??!! FAB :)
Hi Susan, Thanks for joining my blog! I tried a few times to join yours, but again, Google is not working with me, so I'll try again later. I like your style! And the desk on the first picture, Ah! Love that too! Have a good evening, Maureen x
We bought a condo in Palm Springs, CA in 2001...furnished a famous golfer had lived there and the furniture was old and ready to go to the dump (we thought) we had a consignment store owner come to see if she wanted any of it...the table was lucite, she said new in the 60's it probably sold for $40K WHAT...that was the only thing she took with her and we got a check for $2500.00 a few months later....we never new it would come back in style...
I'm with you all the way lady!! Lucite for days...except on heels. That's not right. hehe
xoxo, Carrie ps-stop by for the CSN gift certificate...there's gotta be something clear in there for you! http://thisfreebird.blogspot.com/2010/08/hey-shorty-its-my-birthday-giveaway.html
I love lucite too! I especially like the little accent table in between the two armchairs with the blue flowers on top. It's such a fun contrast to the rest of the room. Love it!
Love the color pops of blue in some of the pictures. I love the subtle splashes of color against the whites! These pics just made my day and also makes me wish I had more money to spend on decor!
It is clear that I need to get my act together! (:
Never owned a piece but a couple of Ghost chairs with gray (short haired) sheep pelts (for extra comfort) would be lovely. Or a small sidetable in between 2 chairs. Could not do a dining or coffee table though. Don't want to stare at any sad feet on the other side of the plexi!
Great post, bursting with translucent glory. I have been feeling a little lucite lust myself these days...I am keeping my eye open for the perfect purchase to take home. Leigha
I have such a weakness for lucite--it's everywhere in my house, and I was just thinking tonight that my cat's love of lucite exceeds my own and if only Kareem Rashid knew...but if you can live with a few scratches it truly does make a room feel light and airy :) Love your pics and photos! xo Mary Jo
It's clearly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIts stunning...I adore the clean look:)
ReplyDeleteKisses my dear
I'm loving it, too! It's the perfect modern touch to any room. Classic with a touch of lucite = perfection.
