  2. Oh I love the contrast! Especially the bed tree and the bench in the last photo! I've also always admired the homes that somehow managed to have an entire tree in the living room or a waterfall.

  4. I'm really drawn to the organic and natural furnishings that bring the outdoors in. The aspen bed is divine, and I've wanted a twig bed forever. I guess the heat around here is making the insides more exciting than the outsides for me.

  7. Love those gold poufs! Yes, I like seeing inside outside...it equates to happiness in our home! My favorite outside inside room was in South Africa when we went on safari to Sabi Sabi. Great images, as always!

  13. I am a big fan of the indoors-out. I should have photographed my friend's cottage porch. She has mirrors, lamps, carpets, ceramics, candles. Its the best camp out ever.

  14. Love these! I saved 5 of them to my "inspiration" folder. Whenever I see an outdoor room, I wish I lived in a less rainy area so I could incorporate some of these ideas. Oh well - next house maybe?

  51. We're fortunate to live in LA, so we blurr the outdoor/indoor line a lot.
    I love creating garden rooms indoors and great outdoor living rooms. The latest outdoor rugs are great. Love that turquoise one in your image.
    I'm also drooling over that Elle Decor tree bed. So cool.

  67. Yes mam, I do! Esp since my son has outrageous allergies, I really miss outdoor action and embrace bringing it indoors when I can. The birch bedposts got my attention...but anything from Elle Decor always does :)

    That was really cool places I have ever seen. It is really good to be in such a nice and wonderful environment with truly natural factors. I love that swimming pool and that bad with wooden pattern most.
