Oh I love the contrast! Especially the bed tree and the bench in the last photo! I've also always admired the homes that somehow managed to have an entire tree in the living room or a waterfall.
I'm really drawn to the organic and natural furnishings that bring the outdoors in. The aspen bed is divine, and I've wanted a twig bed forever. I guess the heat around here is making the insides more exciting than the outsides for me.
Love those gold poufs! Yes, I like seeing inside outside...it equates to happiness in our home! My favorite outside inside room was in South Africa when we went on safari to Sabi Sabi. Great images, as always!
I am a big fan of the indoors-out. I should have photographed my friend's cottage porch. She has mirrors, lamps, carpets, ceramics, candles. Its the best camp out ever.
Love these! I saved 5 of them to my "inspiration" folder. Whenever I see an outdoor room, I wish I lived in a less rainy area so I could incorporate some of these ideas. Oh well - next house maybe?
My goodness, where do I begin? Ok, I love photos one and four! Especially four!! Those colors are amazing! The tree bed is absolutely breathtaking! Can you imagine showing that to house guests??!!
LOVE having indoor furniture outside! Not sure how to pull it off without it looking like some frat boys just put their crappy sofa on the back porch, lol! Lovely inspiration here! XO!
yes, I love this idea. And I love that first picture...how nice to lay there and read a book and then take a dip in the pool! And the Metropolitan home one is beautiful. naina
