Late Summer Day's Daydream

Every year Summer seems to fly by faster and faster.
I adore Fall fashions, boots and sweaters...
toasty fires, apple picking and cider, but,
Fall seems to zoom by even faster than Summer,
leaving behind what feels like an endless dark Winter.

So even though I am drooling over all the fall fashions...

I'm also daydreaming about an endless Summer.

And, trying to savor each moment of sunshine.

And when those dark cold days of winter finally do get here,
I know I will be heading over to the online portfolio
for more gorgeous sunshine daydreams.

  7. Hello! Those two pools are just divine - gorgeous. I agree - trying to hang onto summer when I know that Autumn is just round the corner. It's started unseasonably early in England now - so I really do feel like I need to buy winter boots! Lou x

  24. I feel the same way - Spring and Fall aren't long enough and this past Winter seemed just endless. I love Fall, but am in no hurry for Winter and it's bare trees and frigid air (not to mention struggling to put a coat on a toddler and then struggling to put said toddler in said coat into a car seat - LOL)!

  25. I couldn't agree with you more!!! Why is it that the nicest seasons seem to fly by but then winter hangs along forever?

You are so right... this summer went by do fast, even my children noticed that. Why, I wonder? Is it because we are so busy with our lives that we don't pay attention to it? Is it because, we always look forward to the next season? These beautiful pictures brought me joy ... and I wish I had enjoyed this past summer a little bit more.
