Local Talent / Distant Appeal {Part I}

A reader recently emailed the following question:
My husband and I are in the process of
exploring a major renovation to our home,
and I am hoping you can recommend
a local architect.

As it turns out...
I can!

All of these images are from the online portfolio of
Michael Smith.

Based out of nearby Wilton, Connecticut,
{the same town as this reader}
I'm a big fan of Mr. Smith's work.
I adore shingle style New England homes.

Great attention to detail.

Lots of beautiful coiffured ceilings.

Gorgeous interior mill work and arches.

Check out his whole portfolio online...
Michael Smith Architects
and check back here tomorrow for
another fabulous architect.
