An Object Of Beauty

Over the long holiday weekend, I devoured Steve Martin's latest novel, An Object of Beauty.  Based on New York City's art scene in the nineties, the book starts out at Sotheby's and follows the career of young and ambitious Lacey Yeager.  I loved this book as much as I enjoyed Martin's prior novel, Shop Girl, not to mention the movie that followed, starring Claire Danes.  If An Object of Beauty also gets made into a movie, I think anything designed by Eric Cohler, would make for the perfect set...as this is exactly what I was picturing in my mind while reading this captivating book!

  4. Looks like you should be involved in the set design as well! Great choices. I thought that first portrait also looked a bit like Kate Spade.
