Polka Dot It!
{boom boom-clap, boom de clap de clap....}
According to the experts, January 17th is the saddest day of the year! In an attempt to lift everyone's spirits, keeping things extra light and sunny around here today~and what better way than with fun polka dots? Falling hard for this trend for Spring. What is it about polka dots that seem vintage and fresh, playful and sophisticated all at once? What trends are you warming up to this Spring?
Really? I never knew that about January 17th. Well you found an upbeat way to fight the facts. More of a stripes girl but dots can be fun too!
ReplyDeletei love poka dots - but stripes are my thing - i was at the mall yesterday - i bought a top with stripes - afterwards i was like 'maybe i should of saved my money' - his response, 'it has stripes, you'll wear it, it's you, IT HAS STRIPES' ... haha - so yea, i got a thing for stripes :o)

Polka dots are easily one of my favorite prints. They're so poppy and fun and can feel so bold or very sweet and demure, just depending on how you wear them. Love that!

I can't imagine why anyone would declare a day the saddest day. Why even put that out there? Oh well, polka dots can always add cheer, my love for them has never waned.
ReplyDeleteHad no idea today was the saddest day of the year....but the sun is finally poking through on occasion here in Dallas and my neighbor got me and the kids out of the house to do an impromptu lunch with her and her kids so it has been a pretty good day here!
