Last weekend, I was able to sneak in a little rest and relaxation at the beach, and I'm hoping to repeat that same magic and escape to the sandy shores again tomorrow. In fact, my beach bag is already packed with my essentials...an easy read, (I'm only on page 10 of Revenge Wears Prada, but so far, not bad) some big stylish shades, a great sunscreen (obsessed with this stuff!) and some soft, bright towels. (Of course it helps if Mr. Zhush is willing to schlep a beach chair and an umbrella:)

Just finished the book. It's funny to read a book and have a certain actor strongly associated with each character It's like Ann Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep and Simon Baker putting on a play in your head. I didn't picture Adrian Grenier as the old boyfriend or the actress who played Lily, probably because they were written differently in the movie than in the books.

Revenge was my first "Beach Read" of the summer and I loved it. Next in my stack is The Publicist by Christina George, I have a lot of chick lit which is all I would read on a beach anyway! :) George's book like is awesome though just a recommendation if anyone needs one, thepublicistnovel.com is info.
