Book Review: Decorating In Detail

Alexa Hampton is one of my favorite designers. I had the pleasure of hearing Alexa speak two years ago at Blogfest in New York, and I even got to meet her briefly.  I can honestly tell you that she is as cool and down to earth as her spaces are beautiful.  My copy of Decorating in Detail, is well loved as I often find myself flipping through the pages for new inspiration and ideas.  Here's a peek at some of my favorite rooms...

    I can see why these are some of your favorite rooms! I absolutely love that closet, the bathroom and everything in between! I love her taste and style! How fun to go to blogfest and meet her!

    Good grief that last room was a total surprise! I love all these bathrooms- especially the nickel plated tubs- so cool! My practical side looks at these those and wonders who keeps them clean and pristine- especially that one that's like a suite in marble! Great stuff!
