Book Review: Modern Country

I absolutely love the tension that comes from combining rustic, country style with modern, industrial pieces. So, today's book ~  Modern Country: Inspiring interiors for contemporary country living, is right up my ally! If the name of this new book by Caroline Clifton-Mogg, doesn't give this theme away, the stunning images inside will drive this visual point right home. Each page contains unique photographs from the archives of French interior magazines. Every picture is a beautiful example of how to integrate traditional design elements with a more modern edge.

*I received a free copy of this book from the publisher, but this did not influence my opinion here.

  2. I have a pinterest board for my dream ski home that is modern rustic. I think there is something clever about mixing farmhouse or country with a bit of contemporary practicality. Looks like a great book to add to my library collection.
