I'm up to my eyeballs here in paint, wallpaper and kitchen hardware samples, working with Muse Interiors in an effort to get our new house "move in ready" by the end of October. I've been Instagramming the design progress, but every time I sit down to write a full blog post about our new home, I either get so stressed out over all the details that need to happen between now and the end of next month or so emotional over leaving this house that we've loved so much since October 2000, that I end up abandoning the whole idea!
The other day, in an effort to calm down and re-boot, I took part in some retail therapy. Scroll through to see what I came home with (using the above as my inspiration)...a little leopard, a some black leather, a few basics . I still feel overwhelmed, but there's something to be said for that shopping serotonin rush!
Hi Sue, how exciting to be moving into your new home in a new season.....my favorite one of all, fall! Good luck...seems like you have it all together and I love all of these looks, as comfortable looking as they are chic:)
ReplyDeleteGreat outfits, Sue! Good luck with your preparations for the move...October is the perfect time to move to Connecticut (even if it is just over the border!). xoxo
ReplyDeleteI always love retail therapy!

The progress is coming along great! There will always be a few hiccups here and there so try not to stress. This post is making me REALLY want fall to be here...like right now.

I would happily wear all of these outfits. Comfortable yet at the same time stylish. I've started buying a few cosy knits as the temperatures are beginning to drop in the UK.
