The end of the year always brings with it a lot of introspection along with the desire to set new goals. Our recent big move to Connecticut brought up a lot of old memories, things we left behind and thoughts set on new beginnings. The past few months have been exciting and yet so physically and emotionally draining all at once, that I feel like our own new year already started back in November and now I'm ready to leave all those pensive and sentimental "Old Lang Syne" feelings in 2014.
Today and tomorrow I'm hoping to "just be" in the festive moment with friends and family. Any resolutions or plans or goals can wait until Monday-(or possibly never;))
