The Great Closet Cleanse

While I won't be doing any juice cleanses, a fresh new year is always the perfect time to clean out your closets (and even your pantries and cabinets too!) During our recent move here to Connecticut I made a concerted effort to go through my entire wardrobe and either donate or consign anything that I haven't worn in over a year.

Waking up each day to an organized and pretty closet is the best feeling.  I'm waiting on a few last decorative items and then I'll be sure to share what is truly my dream closet here with you soon. In the meantime, I'm loving these stunning closets and pantries all designed by the British architectural firm, Hayburn and Company.

And, if you still need even more motivation to tackle your closets, here's a tip I recently got from a friend, order a free "clean out" bag through Thred Up, an ingenious online consignment company that makes it all so easy and convenient. I've just now finished sending off our third shipment (and gotten my first pay out) - you can check out how Thred Up works here.

  1. Spending the month of January purging closets, cupboards and pantry. It feels almost as good as that cute pup looks. The silver lining of the moving chaos is the cleanse. You always manage to find the upside, Sue!
