Now that the rooms we use everyday in our new home feel settled and almost finished, I'm excited to focus on our new dining room. Other than moving in our old furniture and rug, we haven't done anything design wise with this space.
We duplicated a lot of the interiors in our new house to look and feel a lot like our old house, but the dining room is going to get a fresh new start. I've been thinking a lot about hand painted Chinoiserie paper for this room, particularly from the de Gournay and Gracie lines (although, I've seen some lovely examples over at Anthropologie). The dramatic vibe that these timeless papers lend to a room is exactly what I'm going for here...especially the more muted, black and white versions. Here's a peek at all the images inspiring my next home decor project.
